Things I would change about CoSo
1. When I click on someone's profile it should tell me if they're following me (as well as if I'm following them).
2. Shouldn't have to pay to copy links of old posts into new (I'm sure we could squeeze a couple of small advert slots into CoSo).
3. Polls should have up to 12 options.
4. Scroll bars can be a pain sometimes, how about some back to top buttons? Next to this button (on each column):

Profiles tell you if someone is following you, "follows you" is upper left over their banner pic.
You can tell if you are following them, the button to follow won't be all lit up if you are.
There is a back to top — hit the column title it will take you back to top.
Can't sell advertising without tracking users — and this place is all about not tracking users.
@Cadence Just one note; follows here don't mean the same as follows on Twitter. It's not a numbers game. You simply follow who you want to follow. There are no algorithms. 🙂
@Pepstar No algorithms is probably a good thing but my ego still cares about numbers. Plus because of the 'My friends' feed, followers are still more likely to see your posts than non-followers!

@Cadence That is not correct. When you post it goes on the Community Firehose column. Unless someone has you muted or blocked everyone on Counter Social will see your post. That equals 157,000+ followers. The only people who show up in your My Friends column are people you follow. The column just makes it easier for you to read their posts. Nothing more.

@Cadence I think you are missing the point about Counter Social. It doesn't matter how many posts you make, how many followers you have or how many people you follow. Everyone is equal here. Coso is user funded. Users are not sold to the highest bidder/advertiser. It's a security feature. Coso only stays online if users pay a nominal fee of $4.99 a month, make a donation or bid on an auction item. Otherwise @th3j35t3r pays for it out of his personal wallet. There are no paid staff, just Jester

1. It does, top left of the Header image for the profile, grey box “Follows You”
2. There has never been a charge to copy any embedded link. You may have CoSo confused with another site.
3. Nope, max is 4, there is no data collection here, so it would be a waste of space.
4. The column name takes you back to the top of that specific feed. When you click a topic there will be a Back added to the top of the column.
Okay issue 2 seems to have been resolved. Maybe I've made enough posts to qualify for that perk without having to pay?
