Social media has trapped and reinforced wide swathes of people into their own hateful bubbles. And yes, this applies to both left and right. However, the right is the most violent and nihilistic. The left is rather of a damp squib of grievance and yearning for unicorns.
@LiberalLibrarian it is unfortunate that some on the left don’t want to reach across and politely convince those on the right.. I see Harris doing it, though and that makes me glad. A leader should listen to both sides and then reason it out. Politics are/is usually played out like a team sport rather than accepting we’re all in this together.
