Coworkers talking about COVID and vaccines yesterday really shut me down. Well, I shut me down in response to their talking. Just more of that “the vaccine is as dangerous as the virus” stuff.
This AM it came to me why that bothered me so much. I know 5 people that died from the virus, and more that have long COVID. I’ve only heard of vaccine problems in friend of a friend situations. #YMMV
The usual statistics vs anecdotes argument. There are statistics on our side, but all they have are anecdotes.
Of course, they'll move the goalposts and say, "That's because they're not keeping accurate statistics on deaths caused by the vaccine."
You can't cure stupid.
