My weekly letter to Senator Sinema

Senator Private Jets:

I write today to remind you that your constituents fly on commercial airlines, require high safety standards, and think you should resign.

Whom do you work for? At every turn you reveal that your concern lies with big business and finance, and that you could not care less about the people of Arizona that elected you. This week you sponsored legislation that would reduce commercial pilot training at the expense of safety. It is we your constituents who travel by commercial airlines, and we your constituents who will bear the burden of decreased safety standards.

You can afford to fly on private jets with your billionaire friends, but we can't. You'd not only put us in steerage but have the plane flown by an inexperienced pilot who can't tell a cloud from an iceberg. We your constituents are the ones going down with the ship.

To complete this mixed metaphor, we your constituents recommend you pull the plug on your Titanic senate career and go rearrange deck chairs elsewhere. And keep your gloved hands off of our safety standards on the way down.

P.S. You still suck.
