Only one party denies the validity of elections. That would be the Republicans, like your soon-to-be-opponent Kari Lake. Democrats have endorsed the security and veracity of U.S. elections for as long as I can remember, win or lose. Democrats, when they lose, call their opponents and concede; they stand before their parties and and congratulate them on a hard fought fight, lost fair and square. Republicans whine and play victim and foment insurrections.
Democrats recognize that default serves no one. It is a lose-lose proposition. Only a Republican would think that there is anything to be gained by threatening to crash the world economy. And only a colossally wrong independent Senator would imagine the possibility that these positions are somehow equivalent.
I encourage you to get something right and resign your Senate seat. Today.
Clearly, obviously different; how can you stand being so wrong?! That's not at all your self-image, is it?
In the matter of debt ceiling brinksmanship, you are also hilariously wrong. Ever so wrong. Democrats do not play with the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. At every opportunity they fight for budgets aligned with their priorities, and win or lose, they authorize government spending to fulfill those budgets.
