I truly love the calls from people in #politics, mostly from the Right, saying this should be a "Wake up call to Democrats" that their messaging is wrong and their positions are wrong, when the Democrats in this election cycle in every level, were running campaigns that were neolib or right of center.
Maybe, just maybe, you don't run as the lite version of the competition and instead as the solution for the country; and be fucking proud of that rather than shrink each time your challenged?

I beg to differ because I worked the polls as an interpreter/translator and heard the real reasons they were voting for trump. Quoting James Carville they outline the reasons.
These immigrants, many who came from authoritarian run countries also want a strong man in charge because, gender and identity politics (I'm upgrading the actual words they used) were in their estimation " ruining this country".
