Does anyone have experience with how easy or difficult it is to apply for residency in other countries (specific countries)?
I know it is fairly difficult to impossible for some places people like to fantasize about moving.

Just found out that Albania offers US citizens a 1yr visa. Per my Super, Its very mild and cheap. my initial research confirms this.
