My Boomer, RL elders will be proud of me. I know the Far Left weren't big fans of either Humphrey or "Tricky Dick." Because of the assassination Robert Kennedy was off the table. The outlier and closest to Trump today was Wallace and his main supporters were racist White Southerners. The reason Far Left people couldn't get behind Humphrey then was because he was too Liberal, they knew he would make promises and break them. 1/2
2/2 The reason many of us are uneasy about Harris now is because sometimes we're not sure where she stands. At times she sounds more like Biden, and at others she sounds more hip and Progressive. Yes, I know people identifying as Far Left are a fringe these days but if she wants to clinch the election on Tuesday, she might want to address our concerns. I'm afraid as in 2016, some won't bother voting because they feel a candidate representing their ideas is non-existent. Food for thought.
No food for thought needed on this platform since many are well informed and don't entertain right or left bias.
