Hi CoSo.. Check this out: AQUA FENCE. Tampa General Hospital deployed the 'AquaFence', a barrier stopping storm surge up to 15 feet. Hospital officials tell us it worked effectively. This is an incredible invention!

That looks scary but its a great solution that's been used in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, & Denmark for nearly a decade now. Glad its being used in FL. 🙏 All are safe in Helene's path

During Hurricane Sandy we had 4 Hospitals destroyed in NYC from floodwaters that were 20 ft high. We had 15 foot barriers in many areas in lower Manhattan for subways and important buildings that were useless. The City has developed a Storm Resiliency Plan with 3.4 miles of new types of barriers.
