It's kinda awful to think about, but JD Vance's wife may end up being a significant electoral problem for him (and therefore Trump) given how incredibly racist huge swathes of the MAGA base are.
While it's certainly not going to *flip* any notable number of racists' votes, I would not be surprised if it lead *some* (no idea if it'll be enough to make any significant difference) to decide not to vote at all.

@Bliss Oh, I do quite literally play for keeps in the context in which I suspect that colloquialism may have originated 😉
But yes, I do play to win - basically always, and without reservation... whether I'm troubleshooting a gigantic industrial chiller unit, playing politics, or anything in between; that's just what I'm wired to do.
And it did not take long for her roots to surface and become part of the discussion

@Bliss It feels dirty to even talk about, but I think various pro-Democrat political actors could subtly play on MAGA's xenophobia and turn it against itself - without actually stooping so low as to *say* anything - just by making sure when they're referencing JD Vance, they use pictures that include his wife, and make sure her name frequently gets mentioned alongside his.
Even if nothing else, it'd likely end up causing the Vances some relationship friction & stress... psychological sabotage.
