6 weeks ago I sat with my high net worth clients and reviewed my forecast for July and August w/a special focus on the political conventions of the RNC in July & DNC in Aug.
I shared w/them how the energy and environment of this year are very similar to 1968:
- Soviets invade Czech Republic
- Tet Offensive in Vietnam
- Large student protests
- Half the country opposed to our involvement in an "inhumane wars"
- 2 political assassinations - RFK & MLK

With the above and the heatwave in mind I’ll share the same advice I gave my clients. People will be losing their patience and heads amid rising tension at various points this summer. The first period begins July 12th with the 1st intense peak starting late Saturday night, July 20th; the full moon's lunatic energy will subside by July 23rd. The 2nd intense period begins Aug 12th and peaks from Tues, August 13th - Aug 22nd.

All of that ahead of 2 contentious political conventions. Nixon had 98% of RNC delegates while the DNC had a gallery of 9 candidates including KKK-lover George Wallace. As for the level of acrimony on the DNC Convention floor I suggest you watch the 20 min video of highlight clips of the 4 nights of DNC including a young Dan Rather being roughed up by police on air on the 2nd night of the convention and the riots outside the Chicago convention hall.
