Let's see 1 person wants me to alter my 50+ posts a day so he wont see them. 🤔
I implemented a great solution that is easy and helpful to both of us. Its called a block.
Problem solved. See, now I dont have to figure out each time I post what specific content he doesnt want to see. easy peezy!
@KGinKS
I am all for helping my community stay sane.
@Bliss It's always amazing to me when folks get so butt hurt about being asked to help folks filter out one thread of what you're saying because they find other things you're saying to be of value. That's usually why they ask. Otherwise they'd just block you themselves.
@TrueBloodNet
I'm not butt hurt. And I dont mind helping him. But Plz notice he didnt say what keyword he wants us to add in a hashtag. Im not a mind reader.
Today's discussion was heavily related to SCOTUS legal decision. is the keyword we should add SCOTUS OR LEGAL OR LAW? OR Is it the word "trump" or "former guy"? That doesnt cover folks who use "tfg" or ppl like me who call the idiot a jackass or 🤡.
Bottom line, I don't want to impact his mental health if i forget to hashtageach post.
@Bliss @TrueBloodNet If you don't hashtag your posts:
- You will offend people when you post triggering material.
- They will bitch at you (politely or impolitely).
- They will block you.
Your experience and that of others is improved when you remember.
But we will all forget sometimes, and ideally other people don't just hose you down with flames because you oopsed a time or two. This is a public space, and we should expect to hear other people talking about what they want to.
Devil,
You wrote:

If you would be so kind as to share with me a comprehensive list of topics that ppl here might find triggering so that I can come up with appropriate has hashtags I would appreciate it.
Im gonna hashtag this #triggered so that future folks will find your List of topics that trigger ppl in the future.
@Bliss @AskTheDevil @TrueBloodNet
I love reading all your posts! I may not always agree with you, but I think we are adults and can disagree without being disagreeable. I try to tag posts about politics. I likely fail to remember to tag them sometimes. Please forgive me. Sadly, I think there are good people here who are unable/unwilling to allow/listen to/consider different opinions. That is unfortunate.
@HopeSeeker @Bliss @TrueBloodNet
The feeling is mutual, dahling!
🖤
I would be extremely worried if everyone around me agreed with me on everything! To begin with, I am _painfully_ aware that I don't know everything, and am not always right.
: )
I may be really old, but that just means I might have thought some dumb things for a long time!
@Bliss @TrueBloodNet I think the big ones are things like sports and politics.
I also think that at some point, people need to also be understanding that everyone else cannot predict what will bother them, nor should everyone always be responsible for managing other people's feelings.
We can always permanently or temporarily block folks. If someone doesn't like how you post, they can easily sod off if they want.
Just do your best, and anyone reasonable will respect that.
@Bliss well done.
