This morning members of 6 different Native American Tribes came together to celebrate the birth of Wakan Gli, a white buffalo calf, which to them is the most sacred living creature on earth.

Some American Indians believe the birth of a white calf is an omen, because the birth takes place in the most unexpected places and among the poorest of people. To others the white calf brings a sense of hope, as they believe it is a sign of healing and of better times to come. ♥️
