Hope everyone's Summer Solstice was fun.
I thought I'd introduce to you a Summer Solstice ritual just south of the border.

In the ancient Mayan city of Chichén Itzá, Mexico, there are many sacred sites that are aligned with the solstices and equinoxes. In the Temple of Kukulcan👇. During the summer solstice, the sun's setting light casts shadows on the south and west sides of the pyramid, making it appear as if it's split in two.
