I'm simultaneously sad & annoyed.
Sad, cause Im gonna miss my 24yr old son. Annoyed because He departs in a few hours for an internship in Asia & the mom in me is asking him to do things that he is saying no to like:
- getting an e-sim card for the countries he's going to visit
- getting a battery back-up for his cell
- printing out a bording pass as a back up
- buying travel/medical insurance
🤦 ugh!
I bought the travel insurance for him and slipped the policy card in his wallet.
At some point we must let them fly.
My youngest son went backpacking in Europe for months upon graduating high school.
He had good & bad experiences which resulted in him being a great international traveler now.
