@porkbonekid - I never took sides on that one. We'll never know the whole truth, but one thing that stood out was all the misogyny directed at Amber Heard. Pretty unsightly and completely oblivious to the male-centric power dynamic. Never understood the obsession with it really.

I'm curious, did any of you see the trial?
@Bliss @porkbonekid @HealingHobbit - Lol, I would have rather watched a MyPillow infomercial than the Depp/Heard trial, honestly.
@esaeger @porkbonekid @HealingHobbit yeah I will pass on all of it TYVM. I had to not only listen to the trial but also access all the evidence. For my job. The images of what happened in Australia and the audio was horrific. It will be awhile before i work for a law firm again.
@Bliss @porkbonekid @HealingHobbit - Waitwhat, you worked on the trial?
Depp was the crazy one, wasn't he. Imagine having that much power in Hollywood.
@esaeger @porkbonekid @HealingHobbit
No! I worked for a law firm that wanted to understand the role of social media in this trial. They deal with a lot of domestic abuse cases, some of them with high profile clients, and they wanted to see if SM could hurt them as a firm or their clients.
So I had to analyze the trial from that perspective, which also involved looking at and listening to the evidence that was publically available. None of it was fun. I had headaches on a daily basis for wks
@Bliss @porkbonekid @HealingHobbit - So the firm was defending abusers?
@esaeger @porkbonekid @HealingHobbit British law is different you're presumably guilty and you defend yourself by trying to prove you are innocent. That is sometimes more difficult to do.
