The Onion has filed a REAL Amicus brief on a case related to a man arrested and convicted because of his Parody Acct and posts about the local police dept. The Onion's 23 page brief defends #Parody as free and protected speech and thus not criminally liable.

@mgulla @LegalEagle Funny enough I did read it when it was first filed becuase I thought it was a joke at first. then I kept reading and realized it wasn't. Then I went to Legal Eagle to see if it was true and he had just uploaded the video, so I shared t here as soon as I got the chance. The brief was my kind of funny - intellectual humor!
