The Onion has filed a REAL Amicus brief on a case related to a man arrested and convicted because of his Parody Acct and posts about the local police dept. The Onion's 23 page brief defends as free and protected speech and thus not criminally liable.

@mgulla @LegalEagle Funny enough I did read it when it was first filed becuase I thought it was a joke at first. then I kept reading and realized it wasn't. Then I went to Legal Eagle to see if it was true and he had just uploaded the video, so I shared t here as soon as I got the chance. The brief was my kind of funny - intellectual humor!
