Ok aside from some of these being bullshit oversimplifications.
Iām curious how this person doesnāt figure out this stuff didnāt result in catastrophe BECAUSE we spent money to fix it.
Like if thereās an issue that needs to be fixedā¦.it costs moneyā¦.
It was literally 3-4 magazines saying it was a thing but that was backed by zero scientists.
@BlastBunny Kinda like how I still get annoyed when people refer to the Y2K computer thing as a big nothing burger. It only seemed that way because a global army of computer and IT professionals busted our asses to make sure it was not a complete catastrophe.
@BlastBunny Yeah, we regulated coal emissions, we stopped the production of freon. I just wish we'd run out of oil in the 70s....
And I'm curious how we taxed the Ice Age, cause that wasn't a thing...
