@Render we had the pleasure of opening for both of them, MC5 (in a reunion), Patti Smith, Dead Boys, Plasmatics, Police, Johnny Thunders (several times) Bad Brains, Dark Carnival "or Destroy all Monsters (often) and Fred Sonic Smith among others probably unknown to parts outside of Detroit/Cleveland.

@Blackwolf I'd trade opening different nostalgia shows for Nazareth, Dio, and Saxon for just one opener for Joan Jett.

Did have the very weird and unfortunate (for us) experience of having Bad Brains open for us once in 1982. Probably the only time I was ever intimidated onstage, HR stood right in front of me for the whole set grinning like a maniac. They were already seasoned pros and we were just a buncha skinny white boys from his hometown.

@Render I agree....although one of the guitarists from Dio, Tracy G, is great to watch now. Saxon was okay opening for UFO a few years back, but not my thing.
