Reps say:
"You guys wanted to impeach him since 2016 because you hate him"
Dems should say:
"And?"

If someone hires in who has a pattern of deceit and you wish they were never hired while expressing your dislike of that person that is one thing.
If that person does something to support what you already know and you finally demand their removal it is another thing.

Reps are using emotions to try to get people to ignore logic- like abusive spouses gas-lighting their way out of something.
