@CinnamonGirlE @Bix all well SON! 🤣 😂 🧐 🤣
@Bix i would so like to think so.
@Bix I think it's a shame when relationships dissolve over politics.
There's so much lost life equity.
"Last week we were happy..."
Translation: "Last week and well prior to that I had been completely ignoring her increased stress and unhappiness."
*He* was happy, maybe.
And yeah, I hope this is true.
Did they get married after 1/6? If no and they've been together since 16, presumably dude voted for Trump the first time? If yes, she remained silent then?
Imagine being this couple and never discussing such issues. Or imagine being this dude and being oblivious and sexist. How about dude's "I'm shocked I married somebody willing to throw away our entire life over politics." What a fucking meathead.
"Is anyone else experiencing this in the wake of election results?"
🤔 😂
When politics takes it on itself to insert itself into every cultural issue, people tend to take it all a little more personally...
my 2¢
That's one way to look at it and I don't disagree in a popular sense...
BUT
I'm a "politics maximalist" in that IMO I see "politics" in almost EVERYTHING. History, psych, science, economy, etc.
So for this person to complain about "politics" is dunderheaded and hypocritical. Also self-serving.
It appears to be the case that it's "politics" when his ox is gored...so (again, presumably) typical GOP shit.
I agree... But politics only matter for some when they're personally affected/hurt.
