Polling is pretty fraught nowadays. People don't trust unknown callers, and they don't trust callers who claim to be pollsters, since campaigns and even telemarketers use "push polls" to try to influence people rather than trying to gather their opinions.

If a caller contacted me and said they were doing an opinion poll for Fox News, I'd give them my opinion about Fox News, but I wouldn't answer any questions about the election.
