What a cool band. They needed to move from London to Los Angeles because they sound like they were from the scene that included The Dream Syndicate.

Trey, I know that you like it very poppy.
Happy May Day.

Good morning. ☕️
Wow, this one brought me back. Another great one I grew up on, thanks to my father.
My dad could've given me toys every day of the week, but nothing would have compared to giving me the gift of loving and appreciating music (and books).

Trey retweeted a Tom Petty song, which brings me to a story about winning the rock n roll lottery
The Heartbreakers' 1st album was a flop. But, it so good that 2 years after its release it made Gold status.

Speaking of Tom Petty... I know I posted this video not too long ago, but it's too beautiful not to post again. I admit, it brought tears to my eyes. I love how Dolly honors his memory by touching the items he wore.
Southern Accents, written by Tom Petty, sung by Dolly Parton.

As someone from 80 miles south of where Petty grew up and who -- as a bratty child -- purposefully watched PBS documentaries/BBC crossovers to rid myself of any remnant of said twang...I resemble this remark. 😆
YES it's a pretty melody. 🤓

Trey loves when Petty sang about being a child in Gainesville.

Trey is over here acting like everything that T. Petty put out since the 1990's was like this:
Colorsound - Love Me, 2010
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDC531QluVM
and it was Rick Rubin that did that very nice set of 5 LPs with Johnny Cash, the 2nd featuring most of the Heartbreakers as the backing band

All great discs,
I look for discs that Rubin produces - even bands that he singed like this one:
