The Bee Gees might be my only group that is on The Beatles level of pop magicians (my ratings).
The Beach Boys are there, but their brain (mainly) was only one person.

That's it, Bixie.

You're sleeping on the couch at the Guv's tonight.

I've never heard such foolishness and effrontery.

😮 💔 😜

The brothers were singing together from their births. Their harmonies were in their souls - like The Everly Brothers.

I am a sucker for harmonies. From CSN&Y to Simon and Garfunkel to The Bee Gees to Dada, great harmonies are works of art.

Such an underrated band-:). To this day, their album “Puzzle” is one of my favorites, almost every track a gem.

As a large consumer of music, there is just too much of it out there (which is a good thing) for many bands to hit it big.

I like this simple song, but can you make a living doing it?

@Bix I wouldn't go quite that far as your assessment. That said, it's a nice-power popish track that needed a better hook (see Dwight Twilley "I'm On Fire"-same key- for reference youtube.com/watch?v=rfRi7Jrk36 )

Important note, I found a Bee Gees album that is not in my collection.

@Bix interesting. I was pretty tuned out to their post "Lonely Days" and "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart" pre-"Jive Talking" material. Apparently the world was too.

At the least, he is going to run around and goose everyone in the ass. Be on guard.

My theory is that the Bee Gees made the best selling disco albums of all-time because they were talented enough to play any kind of pop music.

2nd time you’ve referenced said plot event — maybe I should read the Wiki entry on the flick to remind myself what the “code red” was all about. Notice I didn’t say “watch the movie again” cuz it was bad enough having to deal with Tom and Demi back when I rented the VHS cuz a) I was on a date? and/or b) I wanted to see what the (then) fuss was about. 🤷🏻‍♂️😉😴

I did like “The Crying Game,” tho. 😂

That other single you posted yesterday? (45 label) had my first “name” on it, now this has my last, minus an “L.” Just what are you trying to say? 😏

Fortunate to be within the broadcast radius of a great music radio station, KXT. They play a truly eclectic mix of old, new, local (North Texas) and obscure.

On Fridays they feature "Funky Friday" starting around 3:00 PM (Central time), and you can listen online.

If interested, it's kxt.org/ and their live online listening is available at the bottom of the screen.
