I worked in the public sector. There’s two aspects to ‘conflict of interest’. There’s real conflict of interest and there’s the appearance of conflict of interest. We received training to avoid both.

I am waiting for the Supreme Court of the United States to have the same conflict of interest rules as a GS-1 that works for the DoJ.
