Why is Putin yelling that he is going to use nukes?
Because the brave Ukrainians didn't fall in 3 days or 2 years and their drones are burning down RU oil refineries.
@Bix Putin’s various nukes statements and “leaks” are a rehash of the Reagan era tactic of being perceived as a “madman” who might do anything so you better capitulate.
@Bix I’ll say partial “finding out” mode. I don’t think Putin really cares if Ukraine and Russia stay in stalemate for years. His empire/nationalist delusions are sincere to him and he faces no apparent blowback consequences. It will take a coup. And there’s no guarantee that a coup means a withdrawal from Ukraine. It’s up to the alliance of military and oligarchs and what they want.

The West needs to defeat Putin in Ukraine. Putin has made sure over the last 24 years that there is no power in the country to topple him.
