GOP Rep. Don Bacon told me that rank-and-file House members are pushing to release a bipartisan foreign aid package as soon as today — in the wake of Johnson rejecting the Senate foreign aid bill.
Specifically, the proposal is expected to include military aid for Ukraine — cutting billions of dollars of humanitarian aid for Kyiv that was in the Senate bill— as well as the “Remain in Mexico” border policy
