It is astounding to me that the USA, "the model of Democracy", has a major political party intent on stopping some classes of people from voting.
The GOP is quickly ruining the American prestige on the world stage and turning the country into what most Americans mockingly call a "Banana Republic"
Putin, Xi, al-Assad etc. treat their citizens that way. More is expected from American leaders.
