I've had parents get angry with me for not babysitting their kids all of the time. My niece lost her shit when I said I was no longer going to watch my great nephews on last minute notice anymore. She said that because I'm not a parent, I can just call out of work at the last minute. I still need a job even thought I'm not a parent.
@Godlesswh_re I've had it happen at work, co-workers would ask me to take on extra job responsiblities because I don't have kids so I can work late. Of course, I said no. Makes me so glad that I never had kids
@LizDylan123 This is what people are like. Because I do not celebrate Christmas, I used to swap shifts and give others the day & Christmas Eve off. They always were surprised that I wanted another “premium” day to swap. Thought I should work holidays for them and they would work for me on a spare Wednesday that was convenient for them. 🤷🏻♀️👍🏻
