@thedisasterautist Neat! I was given one of those introvert-extrovert etc tests once at an office I worked in...and apparently I was the first person the grader had ever seen that scored exactly halfway between all 4 different descriptors 🤣
@thedisasterautist Yah, that test! Dude told me to take it over and to take my time...same results with different questions...it was for our company owner to make sure all his employees were cut out for the jobs they'd hired us for...and apparently I could have been equally good at any of them, lol...so he kept me in sales, cause I was top seller every month...we made pre-engineered steel buildings, and I sold the living crap out of them 🤣
@thedisasterautist @Avidspark I first took that test ~40 years ago, and several times since. I've always scored either INTP or INFP, depending on my mood, the way the questions were phrased, or...dunno, the phase of the moon?
Thing is, I realized a few years ago that I'm not actually an introvert at all. I'm just an #autistic person with C-PTSD/severe anxiety regarding social situations, even though I crave social interaction. If I were actually an introvert, I'd have suffered much less trauma.
@Avidspark: On the Myers-Briggs thingamajig I have been a ANTP since I first took the test in third-grade. I say ANTP because I never tested more than 3 points on either side of 0 between E and I.
I coined the term "Ambivert" in high school to properly describe my result. I was told I was wrong, of course, that one had to be one or the other.
I'm glad the psychology establishment caught up with me, even if it was thirty years later.
