I am laying in bed on my side right now. Boy dog has artfully draped himself across my hips and lower back, with his head and neck resting over my waist. Each snore tickles the side of my tummy. His sister has mushed herself up against my shins and feet. I can feel her heart beating against my ankle in some impossible canine origami way. This is one of the best things about being a dog Mom. These quiet, trusting mornings.

Hi guys. Husband's laptop just killed itself so we need to get him a new one. He had a Macbook Pro & it lasted for 9 years, though.

Trouble is, he's heard Macbook quality is maybe not this good anymore. So he's open to trying new things. He says he doesn't need a touch screen. He mostly just uses it to surf, check email, play some "filthy casual online timewaster-type" games.

Any recommendations?

Got a quarantine haircut from my husband yesterday. It took forever, but he did a great job! My whole head feels lighter!

Ok, thank God... the test came back negative! The Mayo Clinic has kick ass turn around time. Husband has since caught whatever it is I have & he says his chest feels a bit tight too. My chest tightness calmed down quite a bit today. He still has no fever & I still have the same one I've had for 3 days now. I have no fucking clue what we have. Cold? Flu? Insanely bad allergies? At least it's not the current killer of the day!

Ok folks. Had to go & get tested today. Spiked a fever, chest & back pain, coughing a lot, the works. I can tell you they stick that swab far enough up your nose to pull back out some brain. They're saying results in 2-3 days.

My sister, a travel nurse now in Boston, was moved to a COVID19 unit today. My Mom is terrified & called me crying so hard I thought she'd throw up. I didn't have the heart to tell her I'm sick now too.

So, it's been a bit of a day.
