for those of you who get to see these aura lights, is this an annual thing for you?
good for you!โฆ Did it meet expectations? @SimplyZippy
@Armchaircouch pretty colors.
@Armchaircouch I saw them a few times camping in the Highlands and once as far south as Liverpool. But in the US, last year was the first time (NC) ๐ญ
Lucky! ๐ @BillyBones
@Armchaircouch Iโve never seen them before. They were here a while ago, but I missed them. Tonight I missed the really vivid, naked eye lights at sundown, but the sky is definitely purple and green to the naked eye. They are very bright when I view through the phone camera.
Oh how cool! May not have been a vivid stuff, but itโs probably still pretty cool to see the sky in those colors! @misslovelymess
@Armchaircouch I just got to see vivid lights with my eyes. Incredible.
! thatโs awesome! Our world and universe is so amazing @misslovelymess
@Armchaircouch Not where I am as the visibility is entirely dependent on the strength of solar activity so it's only usually visible much further North, closer to the Arctic Circle.
@Armchaircouch l live in Toronto, Canada, there have been a number of times over the years when some lucky folks in this area saw them
@sheseala sent this link which hads a lot of info about them. I went down the block a bit ago, but nothing more than a bit of pink if I tip the lpad north. Gonna try again later

@Armchaircouch
I never remember them being visible until last year. But I missed them then.
@Armchaircouch it's the first time in my life I have seen them. ๐
