is there some trick to these? do they just, cease to work after a couple of years? the turny part?
@Armchaircouch they can, yes. the gears wear out, or the blade gets dull.

should i mention i avoided peeling potatoes for years because it was too much work... then i realized that just maybe it was because my 40 year old vegetable peeler was just plain worn out?
