If you have Architectural drawings, the SIte Plan, how do they fit in with the process of actually building the structure?

Do their measurements get used? Or is it more conceptual IE. here's what *maybe could happen?

What would a GC do with them?

If you have experience here, please share and thank you!!

@Armchaircouch Architectural site plans (and civil engineer drawings) are needed for parking, landscaping, utility connections etc.

ah thank you! Are ach. plans and civil eng. drawings very different?
Dees one use one to create the other? @chuck242

@Armchaircouch Usually the architect and civil engineer work together to layout the site. Architect covers the overall design and the engineer makes it buildable.
