sometimes I feel like the worst part of entertainers passing away, is that they donโ€™t get to hear the outpouring of love they get once theyโ€™re gone

@Armchaircouch Iโ€™m at a total loss for words over this one. I loved Friends as I watched when it first aired in my teens and early 20s, and many, many times ever since, and Chandler was just such a great character. This is just so sad. ๐Ÿ˜ฟ

it is so sad. he seemed like a genuinely truly good person that was just trying to get through, you know. gave so many people smiles, @GEAUXJayna

@Armchaircouch Around the time we got married (22 years ago), my husband wound up teaching drum lessons to a nephew of one of the executive producers of the show, and he surprised me with a photo with a message and autographs from the full cast, which of course we still have hanging up to this day. It was one of the best gifts ever. ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›

Oh wow! That is great! A signed picture, literally!
๐Ÿ˜ญ gosh dammit so theyโ€™re all going to eventually pass on. Like we all are.
Ugh.
But.
That is a very awesome photo, I am ecstatic for you๐Ÿ˜‚โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ @GEAUXJayna

@Armchaircouch Thanks. Yeah, it seems like more and more artists we loved are passing all the time, but I guess thatโ€™s how it goes as we age. My uncle, who sadly passed 15 years ago, actually got to see one of the Friends episode tapings live and itโ€™s one of my all-time faves - โ€œThe One with the Embryosโ€. He was well above their target demographic; he was a college professor with a photographic memory, but he absolutely loved Friends. He was funny and sarcastic, like their humor. ๐Ÿ˜บ
