Sometimes being a good citizen involves notifying State Highway Services that they need to clear overgrown foliage at an intersection. Trying to cross a 55MPH road from a side street is harrowing when you can't see oncoming cars. I even grabbed a map screenshot so I could highlight the area most in need of work.

I don't know about that, but if just one vehicle collision is avoided, if one person isn't panicked by narrowly avoiding a collision, if just one person has an easier day for it, it's good. For me, it's about staying safe myself.
I'm all for the fact that MDOT SHA limits mowing and trimming for many reasons, all are good. But problems areas like this should still be regularly addressed.
