Once in their life, everyone should work in the food service industry. Cook, wait tables, deliver, whatever. Understand just how hard those jobs really are.
@ArcturusSaDiablo Been there, done that, got the t-shirt.
@ArcturusSaDiablo first job McDonald's, then waitress during college. I then had enough of the hungry masses and became a nurse. Now it's the sick that are even worse.
@ArcturusSaDiablo any job working with the public does the trick
@ArcturusSaDiablo dishwasher in the college cafeteria. Working for nothing, but the meals are free. Not really nothing, but mighty close.
@ArcturusSaDiablo For sure.Any job working with the public is very challenging. One reason I tip well and try to be kind to anyone behind a counter or working on the floor.
I always thought it would be a good idea for congressional persons to go work the jobs they so easily malign, like teaching. Try it for a day on substitute pay and see how long you last.
@ArcturusSaDiablo
I have, which is why I'm a very good tipper.
