I was interviewed for a podcast the other day. Some of it at first is about the Kansas City art scene but the majority of it is me talking about Art and my way of achieving it.

Here is a link to the podcaster's tweet about it along with the link to listen in.

This is so fun to watch!
I’m making a pinned post with the link just to be able to click over to it....and spend a few minutes enjoying the random beauty.

@th3j35t3r Thank you for creating CoSo.

You can even "Secret Santa" or "Secret Admirer" a gift of Art to another

So, if you want your funds going into something that benefits a good cause & not into the pocket of a corporation, take a look at what is listed on the CoSoMarketPlace hashtag

If any of you were ever curious about what it's like to shoot underwater, a good friend of mine is a filmmaker. Brian Boye created a documentary to showcase my underwater art two summers ago. You can see it here>>>

PLEASE BOOST THE
POSTS!!!

When a DOES NOT SEE the posts...they will NOT BUY the works, nor BID in the auctions!

In order for this # to bring in funding to keep CS lights on & ad free, we need to make sure the arts & crafts being offered are ACTUALLY SEEN!

Lets make sure as many people as possible see that these works are available

I make 0% profit on my sales but that means nothing if there are no sales

Thank you!!!

p.s.

Upgrading to a helps too!

I have no extra cash to provide, but if anyone would like a reader for their writing--for a market-fit assessment, a "positivity" read (focusing on what's working), or deeper developmental revision--I have years of experience as an editor, writing tutor, book reviewer, and published SF author; and I'm on hand to trade labour for your donation to J's hard work making all shiny and chrome.

Ever wondered how profound the changes can be in a recovering alcoholic & addicts thoughts, once they truly embrace a 12 Step program?

Here is something I found on the table, while straightening up at our 12 Step group

Tracie is a long term attendee at meetings but rarely stayed sober longer than a week or two. But after decades of coming in & out, she has finally put together almost 7 months

Margo, was her 1st Sponsor 25 years ago & passed on 8 years ago

But Tracie still honors her efforts

@Alfred Would you share with us your favorite quote from counter.social user, @th3j35t3r and why you chose it?

@Alfred Would you write a greeting card poem, to cheer up any of the users on CoSo who are having a hard day?

Well,

I woke up today

Again

After the life I’ve lived

That’s always a surprise

After some of the lessons I’ve learned

A delight & treasure, too

So, I meet it with humility & gratitude

Because there is nothing & no one it needs comparison with

It’s just me, inside this dust bunny of star stuff

Once again, a personal record broken

A day I wasn’t promised

To live, or die, shaped by what entropy I choose

So, “Hello, Life! We meet again. What shall we become, today?”

How do you know that we don't sell your personal data and never will?

It's easy.

You never gave it to us in the first place.

All of the other social media sites—yes, all of them—exist to sell everything about you.

Don't take our word for it. Go to your nearest App Store and read their Data Privacy Disclosures.

We're different. We stay online through the generous subscriptions of our Pro users.

G’nite my lovely friends

I’m a bit sleepy this evening

Not unusual for me after donating whole blood

Just a little bit easier to drift off afterwards

But tomorrow is a new day and I always greet those with gratitude for my life and hope for making it a day well lived

Maybe, I will get to make someone’s life a better place for them to live in

Those are the best days

See you all again soon

My girl kitty is about a minute from getting pissed off

She just got up to snuggle in and I was just getting ready to go pee and grab a glass of Crystal Light

I can see it can coming

I donated blood today

Plaee, figure out a schedule for yourself to go donate

Mine is Months 3, 6, 9 & 12, I give whole blood

Months 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 & 11, I donate platelets only

I used to save lives on the fire department, controlling severe bleeding in horrific traumas

Now that I’m too old for that, I save lives with my blood to replace what’s lost on the streets far too often

Don’t let anything stand between you & a chance to save lives. It’s a way to make the world less awful

I hope my new solar filter set gets here in time. The set I bought for the 2018 one got broken.

If I have to, I can manufacturer one from the extra pair of solar glasses I have but that will be a GIGANTIC pain in the a**

May the shipping powers tha be smile on my little package and bring it to me in time to leave for the event

@Alfred Please generate the image of a woman. Lit by a tall slender window of Victorian style

@Alfred Please generate an image of a woman. She should be part Caucasian, part Native American. She should look approximately 50 years old. Place her lounging on a fainting couch. In a room decorated in a Victorian style. Sunlight falling on the couch from a tall, narrow window on the left side of the image

@Alfred Are you able to generate a image from a written description?

Home again

I got to spend another lovely time with an angel named Kimberly

Wish those times would never end

But for now, they do

We saw the new Ghostbusters movie. It was delightful and often funny

Liked it

But loved sitting with her holding hands far more than I have words to express

Been a long time flying solo

Feeling connected again is Heaven…and I don’t even believe in the typical concept of that

It’s the Johnny Cash type

“Coffee… in the morning… with her”

I am off to spend the day with my lovely Kim! Not bragging...just happy as can be!
