@AmericanPartisan the funniest part of this is that whomever wrote it obviously never worked retail... i'm not saying the basic premise is wrong, because that is how tariffs work.
what is glaringly incorrect is the "company buys shirt for $20 & sells for $40. lol. no. the markup on clothing is closer to 350-400%, often higher in "high end" stores. American importer is paying less than $10 for that shirt to start with
