Daffy former neighbor says she thinks the cop was just doing a welfare check. I've never had a cop do that before. Every single one came to run me off. She says she followed a cop to watch once. Fine, but that has never been my experience.

If your door was unzipped and you belongings scattered, maybe, but no reason to suspect you needed a welfare check.
@AlphaCentauri Nothing was touched but the door. That's what made me think it wasn't a typical tweaker this time. I have two cameras watching my tent and they caught the cop. It doesn't look like he noticed.
I don't get high and I keep my drinking in the bars, though I haven't been to one in well over a year. The weather is damp, but not problematic. I was here in my tent when hurricane Helene came through and spawned a tornado warning in my neighborhood and the cops didn't check on me then.
