If there is high demand for green energy and low demand for fossil fuels, no one will be investing their money in drill-baby-drill projects. They'll be adding increased capacity for green energy, because that's where the profit will be.
We chose the “wind” option and we pay a “pure and simple” fee for that, but then we get a “renewable fuel credit” equal to the Fuel Cost Adjustment, so it wipes that out.
