1 pharmacist mumbling & saying, "This has never before" while hearing them tapping the syringe to get air out. & eventually having to excuse themselves so they can get a new one.

1 pissed off patient, since I filled out a paper that included a question that asks if I have anxiety, as well as my own paper that has 'trypanophobia' (phobia of needles) in large, all caps letters at the top.

When they came right out & said that this has never happened, with having a bubble, I responded with, "Point of reference, never say that in front of a patient that has a needle phobia." He returned with, "I didn't know."

FFS DO YOU PEOPLE NOT READ THE PAPERWORK!

Mind you, my case manager was sitting right there when it all happened. The hospital is not going to enjoy hearing from me tomorrow!

I hadn't heard the term "trypanophobia" to mean needle phobia before. It sounds like it's a reasonable fear of having a hole drilled into your skull.
