While I'm at it.
Even though technically illegal, I smuggled concord grape seeds from the old country
Before the war in Bosnia, this very grape vine, was already good 30 years old
Then the evil came, and along with the homes, they found it necessary to also burn that ancient vine
10 years later, from it's ashes, a new vine sprouted
20 years later, I brought its seeds to US to try and plant it
I'll be damned if I'll let it die
Note: It's not an invasive species. I'm not a complete idiot 😆

The European vines are now grafted onto the roots of US grapes due to a blight. You might want to check into how to protect your little vine.
