fwiw before the age of social media, academics warned after WWII that spreading those symbols of hate visually, even with a caption against it (which means nothing as our brains absorb just the image first), just spreads those charged symbols of hate, and that is dangerous.

Don’t be a tool of hate .

I think the best weapon against them is mockery, like the Loldiers of Odin and the Coup Clutz Clowns. Fascists exploit men with insecurity about their power in society. Acting like Nazis are too scary to talk about feeds that.

@AlphaCentauri YES! Mocking it is so important to dismantle it, mocking is it's kryptonite. I feel a civic duty to mock, like some of my heroes.
