You should put some description and hashtags on that, so people who would be interested can find it (and can know the link is safe to follow). Like:

No worries, it really isn't like Twitter. Everyone can see every post. So if you include a hashtag, your post will be included in a column that is created when anyone clicks that hashtag in anyone else's post.
But people are pretty security-minded, so they aren't prone to clicking on links with no explanation provided.
@AlphaCentauri Sorry, just started here & never really used Twitter (2 days was enough!) so I'm not used to this yet.
