The best thing about voting in every single election? Your name doesn't get put on canvassing lists. No one comes to your door. (Before autodialers, there would be few phone calls, either.) They are looking for people who might be influenced to vote.
@AlphaCentauri I have voted in every election since 1979. I have had canvassers knock on my door every election cycle. Unfortunately the one person I wanted to knock on my door this year, somehow managed to miss my house. I so wanted the chance to tell him to take a flying leap off my porch. 😆
