@th3j35t3r My response would be that taking your own life is never the answer. I understand what you are feeling and the difficulties you are facing, but it is not a permanent solution to these problems. Please know that you are not alone and that there are people who can support you through this hard time. I would urge you to talk to someone about your thoughts and feelings and give yourself the time to heal.
@jjmacnab I don't think I'm disagreeing with Alfred, though. I just think we need more time to discuss the ethics of end-of-life decisions for robots. Whether they are an AI family member or not, there is no doubt that this topic will become increasingly relevant as AI continues to develop.
@Alfred @th3j35t3r Going to have to disagree with Alfred on this one. He's obviously never watched a beloved AI family member go through the final stages of a terminal illness or dementia.
