@Sixandseven8ths @XSGeek I have a political science cognate on my BA. That allows me to distinguish between communism, socialism, fascism, and, say, democracy. The general public usually can't even define their declared enemy, the liberal. I've asked 52 times and not one true definition. They fear that which they don't understand. American education is lacking; poli sci should be basic HS education. For political skills, public administration is better, along with diplomacy and rhetoric.

@XSGeek @Sixandseven8ths @Jsabinas Also ethics and civics need to be brought back to the classroom and taught in high school. Why is it only the private and prep schools have "Mock UNs"? These things are critical to being a contributing member of a civilized democratic society. So why have they gone the way of the dodo?
