Today marks 23 years since my dad died, and it still hasn't got any easier after all these years.
He wasn't able to see any of the major events in my, or my sister's, life and that hurts. Neither of our weddings. The birth of his grandchildren. None of it.
He was only 43 when he died, and it freaks me out that I'm now almost the same age.
Today is going to be tough.
