In the last week or so I've amused myself by thinking of people who have passed and what their reaction would be to the state of the US' current political climate and specifically Trump's choices for leadership positions.
Carlin, FDR, Bourdain, my buddy Brendan, my Grandfather, etc...
My father on the other side watches in utter disgust. He fought Nazis hand to hand in Battle of the Bulge.
